RAHA offers both Travel and House options at each age level.
Mite Lites is for younger players in their FIRST year of hockey.
House programs offer approximately 2 practices/week and 1 in-house scrimmage/week.
Travel teams practice approximately 2-3xs/week and 2-4 games on the weekends. Games will be both home AND away on the weekends (both Saturday AND Sunday). If numbers indicate multiple teams at a given age division, evaluations will be held to determine team placement and level of play.
Youth teams are open to both boys AND girls.
Girls' teams are composed of only girls and they will play primarily other girls' teams.
Please note this is a general summary of teams. For a more detailed description to ensure you select the correct level of play please click the link below.
Jersey's and Warm Ups will be ordered separately from registration this year.
Rutland Amateur Hockey Association (RAHA) provides two separate forms of financial aid: Player Scholarships and Financial Hardship.
Financial Hardship: The goal of RAHA’s financial hardship program is to provide financial support to those players who might otherwise be unable to participate in hockey. RAHA will review a variety of criteria to determine eligibility for financial assistance. Prior year account payments, travel and equipment expenses are not funded by this program.
Scholarships: RAHA may set aside a fixed amount of funds as agreed upon by the Board of Directors to advance specific goals and initiatives of the Association. Scholarship opportunities and funds allocated are expected to change annually with an assessment of the Association’s goals and initiatives.
2024 Scholarships Categories:
Any financial aid received (Scholarship or Financial Hardship) is for the current year and should not be considered guaranteed in subsequent years.
Applicants must reapply each season to be considered for financial assistance.
Beginning in 2024, Financial Aid Applications are to be submitted on-line.
